We tend to get conditioned in constantly pursuing metrics and goals and possibly miss out on the roots and intricacies. Here is an experience of a mountain run that truly challenged the mindset of timings, PBs, a.k.a Personal Best and pushed limits to cross the finish line by walking (not racing) the uphill with a 1000m elevation gain on the route.
Thoroughly enjoyed my 30K at Ooty Ultra amidst tea gardens in the Nilgiris. Thanks to Kannan Sundararajan for a high-quality event that tests the resilience of runners.
