Ootyultra’s commitments towards The Nilgiris
- OOTYULTRA is committed to giving back to the community by supporting the Nilgiris District initiatives related to promoting sports, sports-related tourism and sustainability
- Since 2018, OOTYULTRA has supported over 2000 runners from 25 different Indian states and a few foreign countries.
- The 3rd edition of 2020, scheduled on the 5-Apr-2020, Sunday, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 4th edition was conducted virtually.
- The 5th edition of Ootyultra is scheduled on the 3-Apr-2022, Sunday and over 550 runners are expected to participate.
A cheque for Rs 1,00,000 (~ 1360 USD) was handed over to the Collector of Nilgiris, Ms Innocent Divya, IAS, on 17-Aug-2021

#OOTYULTRA 2022: In its 5th edition of OOTYULTRA, sixty runners contributed an amount of Rs. 30,000 through Charity tickets, and eleven runners contributed Rs. 4999 in addition. For the first time, KaysFIT Academy will add Rs. 30,000/- to match the Charity tickets contribution. Rs. 64,999/- will be set aside for contributions to Nilgiris District initiatives.
