OOTYULTRA will have a race-day team of 100+ members, including the race crew, medical & physio, communication, safety & route marshals, aid-station captains, hospitality team and volunteers. Why become a volunteer?
Volunteering in OOTYULTRA is an exciting opportunity to gain some rewarding experience, meet different people and take on new roles/responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to embrace a safety culture by learning first-aid and CPR, gain experience and find opportunities to give back to the running community that you love & have fun. Furthermore, you will learn what goes behind the scenes of organizing a large ultramarathon.
Who is volunteering ideally suited for?
You belong to the mountains, or you love them. You like to travel. If you are sports-loving, caring, team player, friendly, safety-conscious, fun-loving, learner, cheerful, and an owner who can take full responsibility for the task provided – then this is the job for you. You are 18+ years of age.
